In the midst of a chaotic world, full of shapes, colors and infinite possibilities for experiences, I believe that the most essential purpose of art is to interpret this chaos, reorganize it and make it more accessible and welcoming.
Based on the conviction that environments have a powerful influence on people's state of mind, I consider it crucial that spaces evoke positive feelings in those who live, work or pass through them. Aesthetic beauty, in its poetics, can provide valuable emotional comfort on life's journey, characterized by its uncertainties and instability.
From this perspective, a work of art that pleases us can act as a powerful promoter of well-being. By making a space more aesthetically appealing, art enriches the lives of those who contemplate it, providing a richer, more interesting and more rewarding experience of life. Although this perception is often unconscious, its impact on people's lives can be profound and long-lasting.
With these premises in mind, I try to create works of art that can lead people to a state of serenity. To do this, I use symmetrical shapes and harmonious color palettes, offering an antidote to the tumultuous diversity of the world we live in.
The intention is to establish a connection between the unconscious and a dimension of balance, using stripes or other sequential geometric patterns as tools. These are carefully chosen to provide a state of serenity, facilitating the flow of thought, after all emotions come and go, like everything else in life, and even the most intense ones, whether good or bad, don't last forever.
I chose glass as the medium for this representation because of its ability to capture the eye with its unique brilliance and give colors a depth unmatched by any other material. In addition, it is a material that offers great versatility, making it possible to cut and overlap, which allows for the creation of works with multiple dimensions, opening up endless creative avenues to explore.
